Although Kuaotunu house is not CCCA’s latest project however it is one of my favorites from their impressive body of work. The intention was to renovate an existing holiday home for a family on a dramatic site in Kuaotunu. The home had served the family well for many years and was full of family memories. The holiday experience is reinforced by the separate pavilions being disconnected from the main living room, this results in a camping experience CCCA intention was to create a feeling of going from ‘tent to tent’ oh and did I mention there is no front door…. love it!
