Strong geometric patterns paired with bright flashes of turquoise and yellow have certainly transformed established bar and restaurant, Bluetrain.
Located on Melbourne’s Southbank, Bluetrain has just celebrated it’s 20th birthday and what a way to celebrate, a total make over from design company Studio Equator.
The interior is definitely lively with punchy prints and patterns but its all been married together well with a neutral base palette.
The open space floor plan has been carefully broken into sections, by the use of custom floor tiling and various furniture pieces.
Turquoise water hydrant pipes have cleverly been integrated to form a screen and balustrade for the central staircase.
High backed studded leather banquettes clad the walls of the dinning room and a neon sign stating that “Creativity takes Courage” takes centre stage.
Is this a pat on the back for the designers? If so, we agree, well deserved!
