Lights with cloaks that become cloaks ?

The Guardian Of Light floor lamp was designed by Susanne Philippson for Pallucco in Italy.The classical form conceals an innovative idea: the shade is a cloak that wraps around itself, keeping the light hidden. When the cloak is opened by the protruding flap, the lamp releases its light, which disappears again when the cloak is closed.
