Iconic Kaufmann Desert House by Richard Neutra -1947 is FOR SALE

Thirty years after completion, architectural historians David Gebhard and Robert Winter proclaimed Kaufmann Residence by Richard Neutra in Palm Springs, California, ‘As impressive today as when built’. Now, thirty years later, their claim still stands strong. Recognized by the Whitney Museum of Art as one of the key residential structures of the 20th century, the Kaufmann Desert House sold earlier this year for sold for $16.8 million and now due to divorce the property has just re-listed at ……. drum-roll…. for $12.9 million. I know what your thinking …. bargain! As you may know I never list properties for sale however I thought it best I share this little gem with you. I just LOVE everything Neutra, who doesn’t?
