Victor Vasilev was born in Bulgaria. At the age of 15 his family emigrated to Israel and in 1996 he moved to Milan to study architecture at the Politecnico. Before graduating, he spent a year as “un exchange student” at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. During his stay in Denmark, he was deeply influenced by the design of the Nordic architects both in architecture and in product design. After completing his studies, he decided to stay in Milan and in 2004 started his own practice. Today he employs a true sense of minimalistic balance and beauty to his projects and home products.
