Tokyo house
Tokyo based studio Hiroyuki Thinozaki Architects have taken open plan minimal living to a level we will never see in Australia. This beautiful box like structure serves as a residence and design workshop for a couple in the center of Tokyo. Encompassing open plan living spaces, living room, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms which are distinguished only by their furnishings. The utilities are well … very utilitarian there are no embellishments or cladding the beauty comes from the building itself. With no hand rails and in some cases ladders in-place of stairs, the dizzying voids may not be for everyone but I cant get enough of Hiroyuki Thinozaki Architects and their daring clients!
