Who we are and how we live… Heimtexil – Trends 2013 / 2014

Launched every year at Heimtexil; the largest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, is a trends book which I have been ordering for the past three years. The book is a collabrative effort from six internationally renowned designs studios which together they form ‘Trend Table’. Every year a different member of the Trend Table assumes responsibility for the interpretation of the Heimtexitil Trend which was originally launched in 1991 by Messe Frankfurt.
This year headed by Stijlinstituut Amsterdam, the latest trend book – “Being”, comprises of four themes with each illustrated by a prominent character. Each theme explores – Who we are and how we live…
