little hunter Melbourne

In true Melbourne style or possibly New York this basement restaurant located in Melbourne’s iconic Georges building, Little Hunter features a refined and warm industrial setting created by interior designers, Eades & Bergman. Little Hunter is a shared project, including Pete Evans MKR, who brought Gavin Baker think …. The Fat Duck in London into the fold, Linda Temani co owner and Director of Senoritas, and management team Scott McDonald and Brett Louis, who put together The Meatball & Wine Bar located on Melbourne’s Flinders Lane. Entry to Little Hunter is located at rear of the Georges building via the fire escape arriving at a moody ambient setting which is rich and inviting drawing you in for a warming experience. Intimate, or communal dining experiences are on offer where you can be in thick of it or hide away in a nook. Eades & Bergman worked with the building keeping as much of the original build such as pillars and booths. The masculine materials selection of timber, marble, copper, exposed brick and leather is key for me, the project is sexy and very Melbourne!
