pattern and bold colour … Designers in the City
This home located in the well heeled Sydney suburb of Hunters Hill was 7 years old and had never finished being decorated. The design brief for “Designers In the City”, was to complete the interior decoration injecting a fresh vibe and personality into each space. The clients, a family of 3 were open minded embracing the use of bold colour and pattern via fabrics, wallpapers and furnishings allowing Jacinta Woods & Sonia Warner to set out on a creative tangent. Their only constraint was ensuring the scheme complimented the existing pieces of artwork & joinery. Set over four levels Designers in the City were able to reveal their love of colour, texture & pattern with the help of collections from Akira Isogawa, Missoni, Designers Guild, Elitis, Sonia Rykiel, Florence Broadhurst & Kartell. Gotta love DITC!
