Red Design Group’s second restaurant design for esteemed French chef, c delivers 1950‘s French Riviera chic. The host station’s large green sofa and mirrored wall paneling sets the scene, while the bar area takes it up another notch with striking geometric patterned wallpaper. Black and white floral wallpaper applied to a rear wall makes an understated but very noticeable contribution. The layering and mix of elements brings a sense of luxury overlooking the hotel’s lavish new pool at Crown Perth. The brief sought to carry over the design elements that are found at the Melbourne restaurant with a fresh distinctive identity. Bold green paneling clads the bar, bringing a modern take on traditional French bistro interiors which are simply to die for. The other is the voluminous custom design light fittings by Stephen Hennessy Design. Positioning the lights in the private dining area make it an extra special space while their visibility from the outside provides the restaurant with that all-important identifier that has become synonymous with Guillaume Brahimi.
