Tucked amongst the chic residential area of Parson’s Green south west of London, sits a delightful deli bursting with charm and character. Interior design team, Alexander Waterworth Interiors, were inspired by California beach cafes and aimed to “create a tranquil, clean and bright interior”. The success of the space can be attributed to the designer’s ability to marry beautiful old world charm with an injection of contemporary pieces. Bright yellow bar stools and carefully dipped bentwood chairs in pastel colours cleverly tie this eatery together. The rear seating area presents as an intimate home setting and the tiles in the bathroom don’t disappoint. It’s clear that the bones of the building provided the perfect canvas to create this home away from home interior and some may argue that it’s the styling of this café that brings it to life. After reviewing the designer’s portfolio we think it’s all down to the clever design choices!
