Yesterday I touched down in Sydney and made a beeline to check out the latest precinct for Sydney in Design 2013 . It took me a little while longer than expected with me arriving at Carriage Works rather than Technology Park in in Eveleigh which is the correct venue fyi quite a few people made the same mistake. From the moment you step into the exhibition space the journey begins, comprising of over 3,000 square metres the venue is packed with installations and exhibitors from local Australian suppliers and powerhouse brands from all over the word. What I loved most ab0ut this space is there are little or no divisions with all the exhibition spaces blending and mingling with it’s neighbors allowing you to casually explore and stumble across some great design finds which include the Indesign Podium which I will be speaking at 2.30 pm on Saturday for High Tide which is a panel discussion on Australian design plus you can check out the Lunch Pad winners and finalists at the Galleria. To find out more click Galleria SiD . By the way…please excuse my iphone photos.
