Whilst the name would suggest a new watering hole for the sophisticated suburb of Mosman, Bar Testoni is in fact an contemporary take on an old-school italian Panini bar. Not afraid of colour which we love, Bar Testoni has opted for an interior that really stands out within its neighbourhood of heritage buildings. Bright custom designed graphics pop against the modest black plywood and painted brick surfaces, giving a new approach to the atmosphere you’d typically expect when waiting for your made-to-order panini. The stylised corporate branding has been cleverly incorporated into the large scale mural running the entire length of the space. With it’s pegboard structure the mural acts as a backdrop to the bar’s modular shelving which has been designed in such a way that it allows the look and feel of the space to be altered by simply rearranging the shelving. This simple but complementary pairing of finishes not only creates an edgy interior but reflects the concept of the Panini flawlessly.
