Cream of the crop … Aesop New York

Have Aesop done it again? Their latest concept store has just opened in New York City showcasing a spontaneous collaboration with legendary publication “The Paris Review”. It appears that there is nothing stopping founder Dennis Paphitis as he continues to develop exciting and unique shopping experiences around the globe. This newest store located in trendy Chelsea certainly doesn’t disappoint. With a combination of simple black stand alone shelving units set against black and white pages from past additions of the publication provides a striking affect. The dark floors and a black shopfront provide the perfect backdrop for the bursts of colour seen suspended from the ceiling. Over 1000 new and vintage copies of the journal were used to create this amazing ceiling. In addition to the range of products that are sold in the infamous apothecary-style jars and bottles, Aesop shoppers will also be able to purchase copies of The Paris Review in store. We think it’s the perfect combination after all, beauty and brains!
