Born in Oporto, Portugal, Marco Sousa traveled around the World. These experiences gave him an international background and the skills to create a collection which is inspired by the different sounds that arise in the world. Marco believes, The richness of the World is based on the variety of cultures, art and traditions. Music is an art form that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony and colour.

above – Trumpet – The structure is made in wood lacquered in black with a gloss varnish, gold plated brass in base Marco Sousa developed “Trumpet” sideboard – majestic, unique and exciting.

Trumpets are among the oldest musical instruments, dating back to at least 1500 BC. However, it can be stated that this instrument became known in the hands of Armstrong. As with all brass instruments, sound is produced by blowing air through closed lips, producing a “buzzing” sound into the mouthpiece and starting a standing wave vibration in the air column inside the trumpet.

A style of music originating a unique dance, characterized by movements that involve the encounter between man and woman: the gentleman holds the lady by the waist and pulls her toward him causing a clash between the two.
