Melbourne Indesign is just days away. I love this event; designers taking to the streets roaming across precincts, discovering great brands and products.

New to Melbourne and the place to be is the “Galleria “, an immersive open-plan design experience across multiple storeys in Melbourne CBD Design Precinct located at 17-23 Wills St Melbourne CBD. You’d be NUTS to miss this destination.

Below– Swing by SeehoSu and rethink the way you live and work: engage your sense of play. Get up close and personal with pieces from Japanese furniture producer, Maruni, and designers of award-winning softwall systems, molo. ‘Play’ with SeehoSu on Instagram and you could win a molo cappello light.

Below-  In a nationwide first, Urban Edge launch the Mutina Mews Industrial series by Barber & Osgerby. Inspired by the designers’ native London, the collection’s base colours include chalk, fog, pigeon, lead, ink and soot. Explore Urban Edge’s world of choice, complemented by practical advice, inspiring displays and information on fitting and aftercare.

Below-  See new products fresh from the Milan and Frankfurt fairs, including Poppy, designed for Zaha Hadid’s Maxxi Museum in Rome; Peter Zumthor’s Catenaria di Luce Serpentine for the Serpentine Gallery and David Chipperfield’s Roy & Royal ranges for London’s Hotel Café Royale. Below-  Page Thirty Three launch their new furniture and lighting collections at the event. See how this completely unique design house combines design, functionality and utility on one side, and art, irony, natural healing and ecology on the other.

Below– Luxxbox brings its very distinctive style to Melbourne Indesign, with three new design releases to introduce: the Pillow Collection, the Helm Pendant and the South Chair. These embody Luxxbox’s unique experimental approach, always discovering new materials and production processes.

Below-  Visiting from Spain, Miguel Paracuellos of NOW Carpets gives a lunch presentation on Friday. On Saturday, AJAR introduces us to five new Spanish brands and there’s a Paella-making masterclass at 12noon. You can also enjoy live Flamenco music and Spanish treats in the showroom both days of the event.
