SETTO Chair takes a minimal design approach expressed through a restrained form and the use of two materials. The dominant upholstered element floats as a live cushion inside the frame allowing the fabric to relax over the exposed external structure. The SETTO Chair promotes a comfortable tactile experience through the use of quality textiles and dominant stitch details.
HENKO Light takes inspiration from the theatrical interaction a user experiences when operating and adjusting the light. The light pole can easily be adjusted and rotated 360 degrees; the opposite end of the light can be placed in the base to create a varied angle of light. Tactile interaction defines the position and orientation of HENKO; encouraging the user to further interact with the light and its environment.
The KI range pays homage to the simplicity and efficiency of the origami fold; producing a range in which the purity of form and honesty of materiality visually communicates the functional narrative. The range is characterised by the subtle articulations and negative spaces between each compositional element; making visible a renewed harmony between traditions of high quality crafted products and contemporary manufacturing processes.
