Darlinghurst living

There’s no denying that space in major cities in at a premium and having the luxury of an inner-city home with an incredible garden AND view is almost unheard of, which is why this project, located in Sydney’s Darlinghurst is something special.

Designed by CO-AP studio and created in a way that it is almost invisible from the street, the pavilion is an addition onto the apartment below and was created from a need by the client to have a new living, kitchen and dining space, but also a place to capture the incredible view of the city.

To achieve this, the pavilion has incredible walls of windows that open directly onto the garden, designed by Matt Dillion, that face toward the city skyline. The garden, which has been planted out with an array of Australian natives, also includes a terrace area and even a garden path making it just as much a part of the living space as the pavilion and, given its location, a true city oasis.
